Power Platform Conference in Brussels
See the great picture from the Keynote session from Dona Sarkar - I do feel like this now. You?
My Aha Moment
I wasn't sure if I should post anything at all. But then I thought, I want to share my aha moment: I found something that is absolutely relevant to me, even if it's just a suggestion for thought. These technologies will fundamentally change our way of working.
Power Automate and the Future
I love Power Automate as it is now. I use it for everything that can be automated (almost everything). But check out this video:
Unfortunately, the video is just an advertisement, but I saw it in a real demo in the Keynote session of Sangya Singh and Ryan Cunningham
What you see: A Cloud Flow (AI), which takes inputs: a customer email, certain documents as a basis, and the framework for decisions (in natural language) and generates a response, which can then be reviewed by any non AI-user.
What's incredible about it? You don't write a CLOUD FLOW and 100 rules and branches, but rather give INPUTS (a FAQ, a description), state what you expect from AI (in natural language). You get the expected outputs (a decision, an email suggestion, etc.), and you can see the thought process of the AI model in the background.
Here is the full blog (including the topic of RPA): Revolutionize the way you work with automation and AI.
What does this mean for me?
To be prepared for the future, we need to prepare our data (data hygiene and conscious structuring) and consider the impact and adoption of AI as a gradual introduction in organizations (in my opinion starting already with the Copilot for Microsoft 365).
If you want to delve deeper into the topic, here's a good starting point that I love: Microsoft Copilot.
